Ms. Anne Marie Sloth Carlsen, a national of Denmark, has served with UNDP for almost 8 years in in New York and Seoul and prior to that more than 20 years as a diplomat her native country.  Ms. Carlsen’s postings have been as follows:

Ms. Carlsen holds a degree in public administration and political science Candidata Administrationis Politicae, from the University of Copenhagen where she also studied French language and culture. She also studied one year at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris, France, and one year at the Ed Murrow School of Journalism at Washington State University, USA.                                   

She is accompanied with her husband, Per Martin Larsen, and has an adult son.
